Live 2D Commissions

Read through this carefully. You must agree to these terms before I begin working on your commission.
These terms may change without warning, but whatever terms you agree to will apply to your commission, even if there is a change afterwards. If there is a major change to the terms that I need you to agree to, I will contact you.

Throughout this process I will be contacting you through email or twitter. Please contact me through the email IronicallyIonic@gmail.com for any questions.

- All payment will be done through Paypal invoice which I will send to you through the email you provide.
- For commissions lower than $50, I require all payment up front before I start on your commission.
- For commissions higher than $50,  the payment will be done in parts, typically half up front, and the other half once the piece is done. Depending on the price or the nature of the piece you are commissioning me for, we can figure out alternative payment plans. Keep in mind that I still will require a portion of the total to be paid up front, regardless of the payment plan we agree on.
- Prices will only change if part way through the process you request a major change in design.
- Once the commission is completed, you will receive the full resolution of the file after the final invoice is finalized.

- If at any point in this process you are belligerent, or harass me, I will stop working on the commission, you will not receive a refund, and I reserve the right to use the art how I like.
- After agreeing to the price, payment plan, and to these terms, I will send you an invoice for the first payment.
- Once the first payment is confirmed I will start on your commission by first sketching out the idea based on my interpretation of your description of the piece you wish for me to make.
- I will send you this sketch with a general outline of how it will look (if applicable).
- You should send feedback and notes on how it looks, but it's fine if you don't.
- I will continue to draw, sending you updates at key points in the drawing process albeit in a lower resolution
- Once the piece is complete I will send you the final invoice, and upon payment, I will sent the file at full resolution
- After it is completed, I will only fix small changes such as coloring errors.
- If you like the completed work and the process, I would love to be able to quote a testimonial from you!

- Prices are variable due to complexity and based on the amount of time it will likely take. This price difference will be reflected in the initial quoted price. If you have a request for a major change to the design part way through the creation process, please tell me sooner than later because the later you request a change, the more expensive the charge will be for me to change the design.
- I have the right to decline taking a commission.
- It takes me a very variable amount of time to finish a commission. Anywhere from 1 week to 2 months depending on the commission's complexity. It could also take additional time if there is a waitlist, or I am busy with other creative projects. Feel free to email me if the commission is taking a longer time than you expected. If something has come up that will delay your commission, I will contact you.

-You get commercial rights for the model
-You cannot use the model to mint NFTs
- You can use, crop, resize the commission anywhere you like so long as the art itself is unmodified in a significant way. This is so a stranger unfamiliar with my work can have a good idea about my art quality.
- You are allowed to claim the right for any characters involved that you own, but you cannot claim the art is yours, nor can you remove any watermarks.
- Credit me somewhere wherever you use the piece you commissioned.
- I retain the rights to use the commissioned art, to distribute, reproduce, or copy it as a sample of my work.
- If you reject any art at any stage, I retain the right to reuse that art how I like, such as reselling or using it myself.

- You are allowed to request a refund at any point in the process, however the further down the process, the less of a refund you will receive. If you request a refund at the sketch stage, you will receive 50% of your money back, if you request a refund at the very end after the commission is done you will receive 25% of your money back.
- If you chargeback through paypal in an attempt to get your full money back, you will be blacklisted in every art community I can find, and you forfeit the rights to any art to me.
- You will not receive the art nor the rights to use that art if you choose to get a refund.
- I retain the rights to resell or reuse any art refunded.
- If in the unlikely event I cannot finish your commission and must back out on working on it, you will receive 100% of your money back and whatever art I made in the process in full resolution. You are not allowed to resell any of this art and I would still require that you credit me if you use this unfinished art anywhere.
